Annual Halloween Ghost Story Open Mic Experience

An adult, Halloween themed evening playdate with performance, activities, games, snacks, and ghost stories told near a roaring bonfire. The original Halloween Ghost Story Open Mic Bonfire event is one of Mixy's favorite events to host. This event perfectly embodies the kind of adult playdates Mixy loves to host, where adults can relive the playfulness of their younger years, but with booze and useful prizes instead of candy! Well, there’s candy too…
While this event isn’t for kids, it is designed for the kid in all of us. Play games and activities to win all kinds of adult prizes from gift cards from popular stores to gas cards. Feel free to come casually costumed or as you are to cozy up near the fireplace in The Women's Club's elegant lounge.

Experienced storytellers from the American School of Storytelling and the Black Storytellers Alliance have been invited to share spooky performances mixed in with stories told by guests, so come ready to jump on the mic with your own ghost story or performance. OR read aloud from a book of short stories, jokes and poems provided. Share all kinds of simple spooky performances anywhere from scary stories, poetry and spoken word to song, dance, rap, or even a monologue.

Is there an ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

This event is 18+. We ask that children not attend this event as performances and activities are adult oriented. Profanity is allowed during performances; nudity is not. Think PG13+.

How will I receive event information?

Simply register for the event on Eventbrite and a confirmation email will be sent with additional information. Use your name at check in.

Weather: This is an indoor event held in a location with balcony access.

Covid Precautions: Masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer will be available for those who wish to use them.

Parking: The Women's Club has a small parking lot and street parking available.

What's the refund policy? Any guests unable to attend after purchasing tickets are encouraged to contact Mixy Events. May be used as event credit for a future events.
