Annual Golf For Guide Dogs Presented by the South Shore Browns Backers

The 4th Annual Golf for Guide Dogs sponsored by the South Shore Browns Backers will take place on December 4th. The venue has spots for up to140 golfers to enjoy a day of fun in the sun at a local golf course. All proceeds from the event will go to the Southeastrn Guide Dogs.  The Southeastern Guide Dogs transforms lives by creating and nurturing extraordinary partnerships between people and dogs. They breed, raise, and train elite guide dogs, service dogs, and skilled companion dogs and provide life-changing services for people with vision loss, veterans with disabilities, and children with significant challenges. SEGD offers their premier dogs and lifetime follow-up services at no cost. Since 1982, they have successfully created thousands of guide and service dog teams throughout the U.S. and currently oversee the wellbeing of over 1,200 puppies and dogs. We are proud of our partnership with them for another year.

Extra safety precautions are being put in place this year to assist with combating COVID19. Golf provides a great way to socially distance while having fun out in the sun!

Each Player Ticket Includes:

Greens and cart fees

Access to practice area during registration

Dinner & Awards

Registration will begin at 11:00 am with a shotgun start promptly at 12:30 pm.

The event will have the following skills contests:

Hole-in-one contests

Putting Contest

Longest Drive

Dinner and awards ceremony to follow with prizes and raffles.
