Annual Gluten Free Family Picnic

Dear Members and Friends,

Join us for our annual GF Family Picnic, a wonderful evening of gluten-free food and fun at Buckland Park Lodge! Thanks to the generous support of Wegmans, we will be serving hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks and chips purchased at Wegmans - and gluten free buns of course!

In the spirit of a picnic, bring a dish to share! Is there something you miss having at picnics because of your gluten-free requirements? Make it and bring it along! Store-bought gluten-free items (from a grocery store or one of our wonderful local gluten-free bakeries) are also welcome!

To accommodate everyone as best as we can*, we will provide labels for you to indicate any additional allergens in your dish. We are collecting this information from all attendees, so please alert us to any additional allergies or dietary needs in your party when securing your tickets.*Our focus for this event is first and foremost gluten free, but we will make our best effort to make sure storebought item labels are accessible/visible and homemade items are labeled for those with additional allergies.

• Enjoy crafts and yard games for the kids and a nearby playground next to the pavilion!

What should I bring?

• Please bring a gluten-free dish to share, along with the recipe/ingredients. Store-bought or bakery-bought gluten-free items are also welcome.

How do I alert you to allergens in my dish?

• We will email attendees closer to the date through Eventbrite with a file you can use. Labels will also be available at the picnic.

Is there an entrance fee?

• No, there is no entrance fee.

What time should I arrive?

• The event starts at 5:00 pm, and food will be served starting at 5:30 pm.

What activities are available for kids?

• We will have crafts, yard games, and a playground next to the pavilion for kids to enjoy.

How can I volunteer?

How do I get my free Wegmans products?

• Free Wegmans products will be available for one set per family for those who RSVP through our Eventbrite page.

Do I have to be part of a family to attend?

• Of course not! Everyone is welcome – this is a community and social event! We want to get to know everyone!

Do you accept donations?

• Yes, we are a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organization; donations are always welcome.

May I bring my dog to the picnic?

• Service animals are welcome, but for the comfort of all guests, we kindly ask that pets stay at home.
