Annual George L. Russell Charities and Award Brunch

The Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation of Metropolitan Baltimore, Inc. (KAPFMB) will hold its annual George L. Russell Charities and Awards Brunch on Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 10:00a.m. until 2:00p.m. at the Kappa Youth and Community Center (KYCC), 1207 Eutaw Place, Baltimore, MD 21217. Keynote speaker for the occasion will be Maryland State Senator Ronald L. Watson, Ph.D., Democrat, District 23, Prince George's County. The theme for the brunch is Empowering Our Youth Through Higher Education.

For nearly three decades, the George L. Russell Charities and Awards Brunch has been a way for the KAPFMB to celebrate the service of community leaders, honor the achievements of scholarship recipients, and raise contributions to benefit future college-bound high school seniors.

Proceeds from the Brunch support the KAPFMB’s Achievement Scholarship Fund. All of the scholarships are awarded to Baltimore City and County graduates who demonstrate financial need, as well as the ability, commitment and desire to continue their education beyond high school.
