Annual General Meeting

Dear Parents and Carers,
We would like to invite you to this year's Friends of Morland Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Friends of Morland plays an important role in our school community, helping to organise events, raise funds and create opportunities for our children. The AGM is your chance to hear how funds raised have supported the school and to help shape the future of FoM.
Over the last few years, our committee has become smaller as families have moved on from the school. This year, both of our Co-Chairs will be stepping down, so we are looking for new parents and carers to get involved and help continue the fantastic work of Friends of Morland. Without the support of volunteers, it will become increasingly difficult to organise much-loved events such as the Christmas Fayre, school discos and other fundraising activities. Whether you can commit to a committee role, help at occasional events, or simply share ideas and support where you can, every contribution makes a real difference.
Being part of FoM is a great way to meet other parents, make new friends and play a part in school life. It's also incredibly rewarding to see the difference your support makes to the children and wider school community.
The AGM is also when the committee is elected for the coming year. We would particularly love to hear from anyone interested in becoming Chair, Treasurer, Secretary or a Committee Member. A description of each role can be found at www.morlandprimary.com/friends-of-morland/
If you would like further information or would like to stand for election, please email [email protected].
We hope you will be able to join us and help ensure that Friends of Morland can continue supporting our school for years to come.
Kind regards,
Friends of Morland
