The Annual Gaucho Festival is Making Its Debut in Melbourne! 🎉

We’re excited to invite you to experience the vibrant spirit of Gaucho culture on November 24 at St Kilda Sports Club. 🇧🇷✨

What is CTG?

CTG stands for Centro de Tradições Gaúchas (Center of Gaúcho Traditions), an institution dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Southern Brazil, particularly the traditions of the Gaúcho, a symbol of Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay’s rural, cowboy culture. Through music, dance, food, family gatherings, and traditional customs, CTG aims to keep this unique culture alive for future generations.

About CTG Pampa Austral

CTG Pampa Austral is the official institution for spreading Gaúcho culture in Australia. Our mission is to share and celebrate these traditions with both Gauchos living in Australia and the local Australian community, fostering cultural exchange and bringing people together.

Why Are We Doing This Event?

The CTG Annual Gaucho Festival is our way of bringing a piece of Southern Brazil to Melbourne! We want to introduce Australians to the music, dance, food, and values of the Gaúcho culture, creating a space for families, friends, and cultural enthusiasts to connect and enjoy a day of fun and tradition.

What to Expect:

• 🎶 Live Music: Enjoy traditional Gaucho music performances by NO HAY and other talented bands.

• 💃 Traditional Dance: Watch beautiful dance performances, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Southern Brazil.

• 🍴 Authentic Food & Drinks: Savor Brazilian delicacies like churrasco (barbecue), açaí bowls, and more, brought to you by our fantastic vendors.

• 🎉 Family-Friendly Fun: Games, activities, and plenty of entertainment for all ages.
