About this Event

The 243rd Annual Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania will begin on Friday, October 9th with Evensong at The Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral at 6:30 p.m. This service is free and open to the public. No registration needed.

Saturday Details

The business of Convention starts on Saturday, October 10th. It will be held at the Sheraton Valley Forge Hotel in King of Prussia, PA.

In-person attendance is expected. If there is a compelling reason that requires virtual attendance, there will be a hybrid option available. Additional details can be found underneath the "Things to know" section below.

Convention doors open at 8:30 a.m. with Morning Prayer beginning at 9:00 a.m.

A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Parking

The Sheraton offers complimentary self-parking in its side and back parking lots for guests. Wheelchair-accessible and van-accessible parking spaces are also available.

Things to know:

1) Each parish must submit the names of all deputies by September 10th to [email protected].

2) If you are a voting clergy or lay deputy, you will need a smart device (cell phone, tablet or PC) for elections. A limited number of Ipads will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Most importantly, please ensure that your parish has submitted your name as a deputy. The deadline is September 10th.

3) Virtual Attendance is available by approval only. When registering, please be sure to follow all registration instructions carefully. Once your request has been reviewed and approved, you will receive a Zoom meeting link and voting instructions (if applicable) via email.

4) For budget, resolutions and nominee information, please try to attend one of the Pre-Convention meetings we have scheduled. See link below.
