Info: As we celebrate National Volunteer Week (April 20-26, 2025), we invite you to join us for Junior League of Chicago’s Annual Day of Service on Saturday, April 26, from 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM at JLC Headquarters!

The Junior League of Chicago (JLC) is a nonprofit organization of women committed to advancing voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through trained volunteers and impactful service. Our work focuses on key community issues, including literacy, essential needs, and support for women and children in Chicago.

What to Expect:

The event will begin with a welcome and overview of JLC’s mission and the impact of our work, followed by a special Mad Hatters performance, one of JLC’s literacy initiatives. Participants will then be divided into three groups and rotate through different hands-on service projects that shed light on our signature issues, like Meeting Essential Needs and Literacy Initiatives.
