Plan to arrive early - PARKING LOT FILLS UP EARLY! Parking lot entrance located next to Ocean Villa Inn at West Point Loma Blvd and Voltaire Street. You will exit at the other end of the parking lot.
We do have Weather Advisories for the Coast this weekend. There is a Heat Advisory. Today they are predicting a high of 78-80 and humid for Ocean Beach on Saturday, with 74 at 9 AM. They are saying sunshine and clouds mixed. We have had our beach party during heat warnings in the past, and the beach has stayed overcast and cool until we left. We will have lots of water for people and dogs. Just watch the weather reports as we get closer to Saturday and plan accordingly.
The High Surf Advisory will probably still be in effect when we are there. They are warning rough surf and rip currents. I have been told by frequent beachgoers that this should not a affect us much because the break is out so far away from shore. Plan to keep an eye on kids and dogs.
