Blessing of the Animals: All are invited to bring their pets to the front of the church on Monday, October 4th, at 6:00 p.m. SHARP for a Blessing of the Animals. This is a much loved tradition that coincides with the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi. St. Francis is said to have loved animals and wrote in his Canticle of the Creatures: “All praise to you, O Lord, of all these brother and sister creatures.”Please keep all pets on a leash or in a carrier at all times.
