After a break of nearly 5 years, the National Alpha-1 Conference is back and we will be marking 20 years since Alpha-1 Foundation Ireland was set up! Save the date of Saturday 5th October at Marino Institute of Education in Dublin. The agenda will include topics such as:
- New and emerging therapies from Professor Gerry McElvaney
- Alpha-1 in babies and children
- Presentations of the latest research from Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland researchers
- 'Sing Strong' - benefits of singing for lung health with a practical session and tips for living well with Alpha-1
- An update on the National Alpha-1 Registry, the National Detection Programme and the National Centre of Expertise for Alpha-1
