Led by the director and choreographer of our upcoming production of 'ANNIE', this hands-on workshop will walk participants through every part of the audition process, including: slating, song selection, dance calls, and cold reads. Through guided instruction, practice, and personalized feedback, participants will gain practical tools and insight into what the directors are really looking for.
Each workshop builds on the other, allowing participants to grow their skills over the two sessions, but each one is also structured so those attending only one will still experience all key components of a musical audition.
Whether you’re brand new to auditions or looking to sharpen your skills, this workshop is a supportive space to learn, take risks, and build confidence.
Please wear clothes that are comfortable to move in, close toed/non slip on shoes and have your hair pulled back out of your face. Feel free to bring a water bottle, something to take notes with and your questions. We look forward to having you with us!
**Note that while kids of all ages are allow to attend the workshop, parents will be asked to wait in the lobby. This is a closed workshop to only the participants.
