For the first time in 30 YEARS- Rail action in Blue Lake. THA has been invited to lay a few hundred feet of temporary track on the old Arcata & Mad River Railroad right of way. We will be offering short rides with the Arcata & Mad River RR Crew Car #60. The last train in this area was 1994, and the rails were torn out in 1997. A unique opportunity to relive the glory days of California’s FIRST RAILROAD. Proceeds benefit the THA and a portion will go to the Blue Lake Parks and Rec. Don’t miss this unique chance to catch AMR equipment on the AMR line!
