Anne-Davnes Elser: Folia – Letters Inspired by Nature | 2-Day Workshop

Combine botanical forms, beautiful lettering, colour and composition in this imaginative two-day workshop with Anne-Davnes Elser.
About this Event

Leaves become flourishes.

Stems become lines.

Letters become part of the landscape.

In Folia: Letters Inspired by Nature, Anne-Davnes Elser brings together two wonderfully compatible worlds: botanical forms and beautiful lettering.

Over two days, you’ll explore leaves, flowing forms, colour and composition while discovering how botanical elements can weave through and around your lettering without overpowering it. Flourish Festival of Letters & Art

This is about more than decorating letters with leaves.

It’s about learning to create a composition where the lettering and botanical elements feel as though they belong together.

Anne will help you explore balance, movement and organic forms while encouraging you to experiment and develop work that feels personal rather than prescribed.

You’ll leave with new techniques for combining botanical illustration and lettering, practical composition skills, and ideas you can take into journals, cards, commissions and fine art. Flourish Festival of Letters & Art
