Come for afternoon tea and meet Anna Rasche, writer, gemologist, jewelry historian, and author of the acclaimed book, THE STONE WITCH OF FLORENCE. Rasche will read an excerpt from her latest book, THE CURSED DIAMOND, a thrilling mystery about fate, obsession, survival, and the deadly costs of ambition, inspired by one of history’s most captivating gemstones. Set in New York City, the novel follows two women living a century apart whose fates are bound by the dark legacy of the Midnight Diamond.

Anna Rasche is an author, gemologist and historian who has previously worked in the jewelry collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Her debut novel THE STONE WITCH OF FLORENCE was an October 2024 Indie Next pick, and recommended by The Washington Post, Entertainment Weekly, Publisher's Weekly, BookRiot and many others. Her writing has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Crime Reads, and elsewhere. Her second novel, THE CURSED DIAMOND was just released by Park Row.
