Anna Moss’s newfound brand of sultry stripped-down-soul is steeped in Southern R&B, Americana, porch jazz; apocalyptic love songs, gritty hymns of humanity, abolition, and compassion busked to fruition in the historic French Quarter streets. Her debut album “Amnesty” was released on Empire Records in March 2024.
Gaining widespread recognition for his soulful vocals and virtuosic classical-harp playing, Calvin Arsenia is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist hailing from Kansas City, Missouri. He is known for his heartfelt and introspective lyrics, which often touch on themes of love, loss, and personal growth. Arsenia's music has been described as a blend of folk, pop, and R&B, and he continues use his gift of music to draw bridges between communities separated by race, class, gender, or religion.
Anna Moss will play a collaborative set with Calvin Arsenia playing orchestral harp. Calvin will play an opening set at 7:30pm.
Both sets will be illuminated with live projection artwork by local artist Monica Rose Kelly. Monica’s ‘live light painting’ blends expressionist digital brushstrokes with video and animation, creating an immersive experience of color and light that moves with the music. She performs alongside both local and touring acts and is recognized as one of the premier visual artists in New Orleans' music scene.
