The St. Paul’s Charitable Foundation, INC.was incorporated in 2009 by the late Don & Marianne Kostrewa. It’s primary purpose is to raise funds to support the poor children in India through the works of Fr. Chinnappa Reddy Golamari.

St. Paul’s Charitable Foundation was started by Fr. Chinnappa Reddy Golamari in 2001. Father Chinnappi was in the United States visiting Rev. Richard (Rick) Hartmann, pastor of Saint Christopher Parish at the time, in Detroit, when his Mother, Anna Hartmann, died on July 8, 2001.

Construction of the school began when Fr. Chinnappa returned to the India State of Telangana. The school was completed in 2008. Currently, over 1,200 children ranging from kindergarten to the 10th grade attend Anna Memorial School.

FR. CHINNAPPA Writes in a letter to the Foundation : " Our country, India is a democracy but in reality there is no democracy. 80% of wealth is enjoyed and controlled by 20% of people. There is no equality and justice for the poor. They are looked down in the society. Caste system and dowry system is very prominent. Often an illiterate women and poor are looked down. Education brings awareness among people. Educated men and women are treated and respected well in society.

My main intention of educating these children is to raise them up from their poverty. The mission helping the poor, educating them and lifting them up from their poverty gives satisfaction of the work. The words of Jesus “ If you have done anything to these least of my brethren you have done it to Me” have been moving me forward to help the poor and needy in our mission. “

EDUCATION

The school is managed by Fr. Chinnappa, a catholic priest who has Master's Degrees in Education and Public Administration.

Financially, the school is supported by St. Paul's Charitable Foundation, INC. which is a Michigan non-profit Corporation, headquartered in Dearborn MI. The Foundationis a 501(c)3 organization and donations are tax deductible.

St Paul’s Foundation, INC. supports 18 children at this school and 30 children at various colleges. College consists of our 11th and 12th grades plus 4 additional years. The students attend college for a total of six years to get a professional degree such as a teacher, mechanical engineer, nurse, computer programmer, technologist, skilled electrician.
