Join the Hall's official organist Anna Lapwood and some very special guests for an International Women’s Day concert spotlighting the work of female composers.
Anna brings together an inspiring line-up of musical friends, including trailblazing saxophonist and former Royal Albert Hall associate artist Jess Gillam and internationally-acclaimed singer-songwriter Katie Melua, who will present songs from her In Winter album in a moving collaboration with the Pembroke College Girls’ Choir, creating a spellbinding blend of voices and textures.
Be part of an unforgettable evening that honours creativity, collaboration, and the remarkable women shaping the future of music.
Anna Lapwood MBE has been hailed as “classical music’s Taylor Swift” (Harper’s Bazaar) and was featured this year in the Sunday Times’ Young Power List, celebrating the most powerful 30 people under 30 in the UK. She was a Royal Albert Hall Associate Artist from 2022-25, alongside Jess Gillam, before becoming our official organist.
