In this Panel discussion, several Algonquin-Anishnabe youth will discuss the various aspects intertwined within Indigenous governance, and their experiences engaging and navigating within this paradigm. Similar values and principles resonate with nations across Turtle Island. These range from: ceremony, culture, citizenship, the environment, sustainability, education and language.
Anishnabe constitutional values are directly linked to observation and education learned from nature and its seasonal changes, we will explore what it means to navigate this as Indigenous youth. This discussion will focus on the Algonquin-Anishnabe perspectives within a modern context.
