Welcome back everyone to Anime Expo, and a very warm and special happy 35th anniversary to our beloved series Jojo's Bizarre Adventure!
Before getting into the good stuff, I would like to pose a couple ground rules. This event will take place outdoors, but I HIGHLY encourage everyone to prioritize not only your own but your fellow fans' safety ??. Please be respectful towards other people's boundaries because we all know cosplay is not consent! Lastly, this gathering will cover both the anime and the manga up until the end of Jojolion. That being said, please be mindful of spoilers as not everyone is completely caught up. Piggy backing off of that, we will be calling up spoiler pairings in the event we get to Steel Ball Run and Jojolion. Don't worry we'll make spoiler warnings! The for real last point is....I wish everyone an extremely fun and biz-..I mean worthwhile gathering! STAND PROUD! ☝?☝?☝?
I understand that the Jojo panel ends shortly before this gathering starts. I had locked in the time slot prior to the event announcement, but I apologize! Please do let us know following the gathering about the panel! If any of you went to the ALA gathering, you'd know that 1. I was late, and 2. my amp started sucking prior to the gathering, but I worked out the kinks and Akira Otoishi is ready to ROOOOOOCCKKKKK ??????! [Shoutout to the fan who attended the ALA gathering and backed me up with the music. Truly appreciate you! ??].
Naturally the gathering procession will be solo shots of the main Jojos starting from Phantom Blood and ending with Jojolion. Then we'll do solo characters moving up the parts, and finally end with group shots for each respective part. We'll then end the gathering with requests followed by one big group shot! I wish Vince could make it, but there's a one piece gathering. Looking forward to seeing each and every one of you beautiful people!
