Animal Reiki Level 1Welcome to your journey into the world of Animal Reiki. This Level 1 class is designed to introduce you to the foundational concepts and practices of Reiki healing for animals. Led by Christina Powell, Reiki Grandmaster Teacher and certified Animal Reiki Master Practioner whose goal is to provide a comprehensive understanding of how to offer healing and comfort to our animal companions. Below is a list of topics and skills you will explore throughout this course.
1. Introduction to Animal Reiki
Understanding Reiki: Discover the origins and principles of Reiki healing.
Benefits for Animals: Learn how Reiki can promote relaxation, reduce stress, and support healing in animals, as well as benifits for humans.
2. Energy and Chakras in Animals
Animal Energy Systems: Gain insights into the energy fields and chakra systems specific to animals.
Balancing Chakras: Learn techniques to identify and balance chakras for optimal energy flow.
Learn how to scan animals energy and identify disturbances.
3. Preparing for a Reiki Session
Setting Intentions: Understand the importance of setting clear intentions before a session.
Creating a Healing Space: Learn how to create a calming environment conducive to healing.
4. Reiki Techniques for Animals
Hand Positions: Master the basic hand positions used in animal and Equine Reiki treatments.
Reiki Beaming- healing without touch.
5. Building a Connection
Communicating with Animals: Develop skills to understand and respond to an animal’s needs and reactions.
Establishing Trust: Learn ways to build trust and rapport with your animal clients

6. Ethical Considerations
Respect and Consent: Understand the ethical practices in offering Reiki to animals.
Owner Involvement: Learn how to involve and educate pet owners in the Reiki process.
7. Practicing Animal Reiki
Hands-On Practice: Engage in practical sessions to apply your skills with guidance.
Feedback and Reflection: Receive feedback and reflect on your experiences to enhance your practice.

You will recieve an attunement to the Animal Reiki symbol and Certification that day!
By the end of this course, you will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to confidently offer Reiki to animals, fostering healing and well-being. Remember, the journey of learning is continuous, and this class is just the beginning of your path in animal Reiki.
