Leapstart's Animal Kingdom Theater Camp – Zootopia Edition is a creative, performance-based camp for children ages 4.5–11, designed with age-appropriate activities and guided participation. Inspired by the lively world of animal characters and city adventures, this camp invites young performers to act, move, sing, and imagine—while building confidence and teamwork on stage.
Campers step into an animal-themed story world where creativity leads the way. Through theater games, role-play, and simple storytelling, children explore how characters think, move, and communicate—learning the foundations of performance in a fun, supportive setting.
What Campers Will Learn & Do
Acting & Character Play
- Explore emotions, expressions, and dialogue while bringing animal-inspired characters to life.
Voice & Sound Exploration
- Practice projection, expression, and playful vocal work suitable for young performers.
Dance & Creative Movement

- Work together to build short scenes, learning timing, listening, and cooperation.

- Help create simple props, masks, and costume elements that support imagination and teamwork.
Led by experienced instructors, the camp emphasizes participation, confidence, and joy over perfection. Children are encouraged to try, explore, and express themselves in ways that feel natural and fun.
