🎾New to tennis? So are we!!🥳Come join our charity tennis tournament custom fitted for newbies wanting to give tennis a try and experienced players too, in a fun low-stress atmosphere for a good cause! 🎁Fun and silly prizes to be won! 🍹🥪Picnic with modest drinks and snacks when not on the court & good times and friendly hitting while on. 👟 Hope to see you there!

Date: Sunday September 28, 2-5 pm

Tournament rules and details:
To accommodate different skill levels, we plan on a team tennis event, with various skill levels distributed on each team.
🏆Will you be team Tofu or team Tempeh?
When you arrive, we’ll do our best to fairly distribute players into these two teams.
Then you will play doubles (or singles if you prefer, depending on number of entries), for a series of half hour games. Court referees will be present to remind you how to keep score and keep the action moving! If you are ahead after 30 mins, your team gets 3 points; if you are tied your team gets 2 points; and if you are behind you still get 1 point.
Then rotate to another court or grab a snack and take a break!
At 5 Pm, once the final whistle blows our tournament secretary will add up the points to see which team is the victor, and we’ll give some token prizes, and share some laughs and stories!

I'd like to prioritize the vegan community in Calgary and so they get the first chance to sign up. If needed In order to fill up sign-ups will open up to public at a later date so be ready to invite your friends and acquaintances!
