Description: Join us for a family friendly life drawing class featuring a live studio model from the Family Farmyard! Participants will get up close with our farmyard animals friends and practice capturing a living creature on the page with crayon and other mixed media materials. In this fun introduction to observation drawing, Claire Valentine, of Following Seas Studio, will teach young artists how to represent shape, emotion, and personality through line and color.
About your instructor: Claire Valentine is a painter with five years of teaching experience and Bachelor of Fine Art from Tufts University. She loves the outdoors, the Maine farming community, and is passionate about introducing others to art. Claire has exhibited work in Maine, Boston, and London.
