“All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others”
George Orwell's dystopian novel, Animal Farm, tells the story of a rebellion on Manor Farm against the cruel farmer, Mr. Jones. A new order is established, but soon unease and fear take hold as the leader Napoleon and his pig class rule with an iron fist. This is a cautionary tale of how revolution can go wrong, as genuine disaffection becomes corrupted by a ruthless political class.
This new version, adapted for stage by Riley McLean, is an ensemble piece catered to the skills of the Think Beyond cohort, senior students at YPT.
