Sunday afternoons are perfect for an animal encounter! Stop by the nature center anytime between 2 and 4 and have a personal and close-up meet and greet with Reedy Creek's resident turtle animal ambassadors. Discover and learn about what makes them special, how they live at the nature center, and how they would live in the natural world. Adult participation required if under 18. Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation follows all CDC guidelines and Governor’s orders. Participants are expected to wear a mask indoors at all times and outdoors when participants are less than 6’ apart. At that time, we will ask everyone to wear a mask.
