ACTIVITY: Create fun and cute animal paintings using exclusively dots! Students will get to select the animal they would like to paint! This activity encourages you to tune into your mindfulness side while exploring your creativity simultaneously. Step by step guidance will be provided on drawing the animal, filling in the colors, and adding the signature dot technique to the painting. Each attendee will get to take home one small painting on canvas. Workshop Highlights
Materials Overview:Familiarize yourself with the tools of dot painting, including a variety of stylus and stick dotting tools, acrylic paints, and canvas. Experiment with different sizes of dots to create texture and depth in your designs.
Patterns Exploration:Dive into the world of symmetry and precision as you create stunning dot patterns such as walking the dots.
Color Theory and Combinations:Explore the impact of colors on your designs. Understand the basics of color theory and learn how to create visually appealing combinations that enhance the beauty of your art.
Take Home Your Masterpiece:By the end of the workshop, you will have a unique, hand-painted animal dot painting showcasing your newfound skills.
