� You might be hearing the term "Animal Care" for the first time.
If you've lived in Australia for a while, you've probably noticed how much Australians love their pets. Cats and dogs are treated like family members here, which is why the animal care industry is so well developed and continues to grow

� At Greenwood Academy, we currently offer 4 nationally recognised Certificate courses, from 6 to 18 months
.
Whether you simply want to become a better pet owner or you're thinking about working with animals in the future, there's a pathway for you
.
� Certificate II in Animal Care (ACM20121)
� 6 months | 2 days per week
A great starting point for beginners. You'll learn the fundamentals of animal behaviour, daily animal care, health observation, nutrition, and environmental management
.
� Certificate III in Animal Care Services (ACM30122)
� 12 months | 3 days per week
Designed for students who want to build more advanced animal care knowledge, including animal health, nutrition, behaviour, and practical animal care skills
.
� Certificate III in Animal Care Services–Pet Grooming (ACM30122)
� 12 months | 3 days per week
Very similar to the course above, but with some units that focus more on pet grooming
(Sydney campus only)

� Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (ACM40418)
� 18 months | 3 days per week
Designed for students who want to become Vet Nurses, covering small animal nursing, patient care, and veterinary assistance
.
� If you're currently in Sydney or Melbourne and you're interested in animal care but you're still unsure whether it's the right path for you, we also offer free campus tours
.
During your visit, you can talk with us about your goals, ask questions about the courses, learn more about the study pathways, and see which Certificate might suit you best.
