𝘈𝘕𝘐𝘔𝘈𝘊𝘏𝘐𝘕𝘈 is the collaborative project of camille POLIQUIN and Jonathon Anderson, carried out in partnership with the Design + Technology Lab of the Toronto Metropolitan University.
Together, they explore movement, fear, and obsession through live and recorded performances that observe and question the evolving relationship between humans and machines.
For this second installment of 𝘈𝘕𝘐𝘔𝘈𝘊𝘏𝘐𝘕𝘈, instruments were designed and fabricated specifically for the robot to play: a five-headed flute (SLS 3D printing), a steel drum formed and performed by a KUKA robot, and a rubber tight-rope instrument whose vibrations are captured with contact microphones.
