CAN YOU CONQUER THE COLUMN?
Test your nerves and enjoy some fine views across North Wales.
We've linked-up with experts Go Vertical to offer 80 lucky people the chance to scale and abseil a real Welsh icon.
On Saturday May 17th between 9am-4pm, the Anglesey Column will be your challenge, firstly to hike the 115 steps up to the top and then after enjoying the scenery, step over the edge and abseil to the bottom.
Entry is just £30 (minimum sponsorship of £125) and everyone who enters will be treated to food and drink afterwards plus a bespoke t-shirt to prove they conquered the column!
Generously sponsored by Menai Heating which ensures all monies raised will help support local life-threatened children and their families from North, Mid Wales, Cheshire and Shropshire at our two hospices.
All entrants must be 14 years-old or above (under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult eg. parent/guardian)
You can specify a morning or afternoon abseil when you register but official timeslots for your abseil will be allocated closer to the date.
