About this Event

You’re invited to join us on June 16th from 1-4pm, for a transformative workshop that delves into understanding and expressing anger in healthy ways. Inspired by the comprehensive "Be Angry" program, this event is designed to demystify the emotion of anger and explore its impact on our lives. Led by Youth Engagement Specialists Sam Osman and Mardi Daley from the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), you’ll learn key insights from different treatments, including Anger Management techniques and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT).

This workshop also features a session in the art of kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold. This ancient technique symbolizes the beauty and strength in imperfection. During this hands-on activity, you will have the opportunity to physically express your feelings of anger by breaking ceramics and then thoughtfully piecing them back together.

No prior art experience is required — just an open mind and a readiness to explore both the emotional and creative aspects of anger. Join us for an afternoon of learning, creativity, and personal growth. We look forward to welcoming you to a space where you can safely explore and transform your views on anger.

Please note: You will be emailed the exact address of the event after purchase (we may be in your spam folder). The venue is in an older building on the third floor via a wide staircase only and no elevator.
