ANNOUNCING ANGELS ELITE — A New Chapter for Girls Basketball on the Northern Gulf Coast
For years, talented girls basketball players across Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Baldwin, and Mobile counties have had to leave home to find real exposure — traveling for practices, joining outside programs, and often stepping away from the local teams and communities that raised them.
Angels Elite was built to change that.
One Icon, One Region
Named after the Blue Angels, Angels Elite is built on what that name has represented for eight decades: precision, discipline, excellence, and power. It's an icon that belongs to all of us here on the Gulf Coast — and we believe our region's best basketball talent deserves a program carrying that same standard.
A Partner, Not a Competitor
Angels Elite is not here to pull players away from their local teams. It exists to bring the area's best talent together for national-level circuit competition — while players remain rostered with, and continue playing for, their local teams outside of circuit tournament dates. This is additive, not competitive. We succeed when local programs succeed.
Elite Coaching, the Right Way
None of this works without the right coaches. Angels Elite is built around experienced, college-level coaches who know how to develop the whole athlete — teaching the game the right way, building sportsmanship and motivation, and helping players navigate recruiting, academics, and the path to college basketball.
Local Training, National Competition
Practices are held locally, right here in the Pensacola area — no travel required to develop. Players train close to home and only travel for the circuit's national-level tournaments, keeping the program accessible without sacrificing the level of competition.
Keeping Costs Down
We know travel-level basketball can put real financial strain on families. Angels Elite is actively seeking sponsorships to help offset player travel costs, because access to this level of exposure shouldn't be limited by what a family can afford.
Highly Organized, Built to Last
Backed by Santa Rosa Elite's 10-year operational track record, Angels Elite is a fully organized 501(c)(3) program — not a start-up experiment. From tryouts and coaching staff to tournament scheduling and grant-funded sustainability, this program was built to be here for the long haul.
This is bigger than one team. It's a hometown movement to keep our region's best talent, best coaches, and best opportunities right here where they belong.
