Plattsburgh Blues and Jazz and Retro Live is excited to present Angelique Francis and her band on Saturday, Sept 28th with opener Kandrah! Angelique Francis heralds from Ottawa, Canada, and was the 2023 JUNO Award winner for “Blues Album of the Year” for her release, Long River. This multi-talented, multi-instrumentalist, multi-genre singer songwriter, and composer has wowed audiences across the globe with her electrifying performances, instrumental abilities along with her powerful textured vocals. Her music weaves through sounds from Soul and blues to classic R&B. This band is going to the top and is a not-to-be-missed concert at Retro Live on Saturday night September 28th. Plus special guest Paul Asbell will be on guitar!
The opening of the show will feature Kandrah, a young, local singer-songwriter who is a mesmerizing future star. Kandrah won the Clinton County Got Talent contest and performed at America Got Talent, Carnegie Hall, and several local musical productions. She is fantastic!
Retro Live transforms into a live music club with a big stage, two stories, a wraparound balcony, high-top tables, and chairs with plenty of room to move around, see friends, and dance. Advance tickets are $20, and they’ll be $25 on the day of the show.
