Angela Rossen is the first Artist in Residence at the Heritage Collective.
This workshop is for children (aged 8-12), and Angela will engage the participants in close-up exploration of the marine and coastal plants and animal life.
All works produced may be included in a large-scale exhibition that presents the unique marine environment around Cottesloe coast.
Angela Rossen is both an artist and a biodiversity educator. As well as her studio practice, she has worked with marine biologists in the School of the Biological Sciences at UWA for fifteen years as a science communicator. She also holds the position of Adjunct Artist with the Australian Institute of Marine Science. Whilst working alongside her scientific colleagues Angela has created an opus of artworks on near shore marine biodiversity. Her work can be seen on her website www.angelarossen.com
