Bella Diva World Dance is excited to host, for the first time in Denver, Angel Bellydance who will be teaching a double header workshop experience: Drum Solo Technique 1-3pm

Worksop Descriptions:
Drum Solo Technique-
No need to take a choreography class to learn good drum solo technique. This is a focused technique workshop designed to elevate your belly dance drum solos. We'll explore how different isolations match different sounds in the music...from dums and teks, to rolls, accents, and layered rhythms, so your movement choices feel musical, intentional, and confident rather than random.
We'll work with small, intricate muscle movements as well as big, explosive, and dynamic actions and how to transition between them smoothly. And let's not forget it's always OK to add a little playfulness into your performances.
Angel will also share a few of the unspoken rules of dancing a drum solo and details which separate a good performance from a truly compelling one. If you want your drum solos to feel powerful, controlled, and exciting, this workshop will give you the tools to make that happen. Appropriate for Belly Dance Improvers and above.
"Tropical Storm" Reggaeton/Latin Belly Dance Fusion 4-6pm đ
When inviting Angel Bellydance to teach a workshop, you should expect a Tropical storm! Miss Angel, also known as âThe Tropical Stormâ of Bellydance is mostly known in the bellydance community for her long standing career in Latin Dance and Reggaeton which she successfully fused into her Bellydancing and soon after created her very own signature style of âLatin-Bellydance Fusionâ as well as âReggaeton-Bellydance Fusionâ.
Allow Miss Angel to guide you through this 2 hour adventurous, tropical storm by fusing Latin Dance and Reggaeton with Bellydance using various drills, techniques and short combos.
This steamy workshop (which happens to be Angel's most popular class style) is designed for the Int and/or Adv bellydancer whoâs now looking for versatility in their bellydance repertoire.
Bellydancers do NOT need any Latin or Reggaeton dance experience for this workshop. In addition, be prepared for LOTS of sweat & smiles because all of Angelâs workshops are a down to earth environment filled with joy, love and laugher!
About the Instructor:
As an old-school instructor, Miss Angel always pushes serious dancers to strive for that âpolishedâ look we all desire in our dancing such as elegant posture, crisp isolations, clean arm stylizations, meaningful shimmies and sassy stage presence.
