Andy Moor is a Grammy-nominated British record producer, musician, and DJ with an impressive career in the electronic dance music industry spanning over 20 years. He was consistently featured in the DJ Mag Top 100 for eight consecutive years and maintains a vast and loyal following, instantly recognisable for his signature sound. A natural musician, Moor was trained in classical piano and could play his first piece flawlessly at the age of 5. He developed an early interest in music production, spun his first record at 13, and signed his first label release at 19.Joining the legendary UK trance act Tilt in 1999, Moor contributed to the critically acclaimed ‘Explorer’ album.
He is one half of the iconic trance act Whiteroom with Adam White, whose title track was lauded by Armin Van Buuren and Above &Beyond as the best trance production of 2004. In 2005, it won ‘Best Production’ and ‘Best Trance Track’ at the Trance Awards. His 2005 collaboration with Above &Beyond, ‘Air For Life,’ was highly supported and named 2005’s ‘Tune Of The Year’ by listeners of Armin Van Buuren’s radio show “A State Of Trance.” It also won ‘Best Underground Dance Track’ at the Miami Winter Music Conference and ‘Best Trance Track’
in 2006. Moor is also part of the UK melodic progressive house act Leama & Moor and collaborates frequently with renowned names like Markus Schulz, Orkidea, and Ashley Wallbridge. Moor's sought-after production skills have led him to remix tracks for a range of respected artists, including Britney Spears, U2, Armin van Buuren, Nadia Ali, Paul Oakenfold, and Tiesto. His remix of Delerium’s "Angelicus" earned him a Grammy nomination in 2008.Moor’s passion for compilations, which initially hooked him on trance, has led him to create several acclaimed mix compilations.
In recent years, Moor has released tracks such as "More Than Love" and "Safe On Both Sides," both receiving widespread acclaim and millions of streams. Marsh remixed the famous Whiteroom track, released on Anjunabeats, and Andy collaborated on "Pinpricks Of Life" with Boom Jinx, Noise Zoo, and AshleyT omberlin, also released on Anjunabeats. He produced AVA Recordings’ 450threlease, "Alchemy."In 2023, Andy performed at various prominent venues and events, including Poznan, Poland; Ministry of Sound in London; boat parties on the Hudson River in New York; Helsinki, Finland; and Ibiza, Spain. In 2024, Andy's tour has taken him to Budapest, Hungary; Denver, San Francisco, Washington USA; Bournemouth, Exeter, Manchester UK; Malta; and he is set to perform at the renowned Dreamstate LosAngeles in November.
