Andy Mardell, a wood carver from Piha. With over thirty years’ experience sculpting one-off pieces of art using native New Zealand timbers. He sources and mills only wood from fallen or salvaged trees.
An artist's impression of the "brief history of New Zealand" is an exhibition that hopes to show part of a New Zealand history we do not hear much about and to highlight why it is important to slow global warming. As guardians of mother earth, we all need to live more sustainably.
