Course Overview: 

The Signature Cuts 2-Day Course is an intensive training experience designed for professionals ready to deepen their technical skills and creative confidence. This course explores a carefully structured combination of advanced cutting techniques, including layers, graduation, and lines. 

Over two immersive days, students will refine their ability to build shape, structure, and movement across a variety of lengths and textures. The program blends live demonstrations with hands-on model work, offering space to develop consistency, control, and adaptability in your cutting approach.

Whether you’re returning to the core foundations or looking to unlock new dimensions in your work, the Signature Cuts course supports you in translating technical methods into creative, client-ready outcomes. You’ll leave with a stronger design perspective and a toolset that works across today’s diverse hair needs.

Level: 

• Experience Required: We recommend taking this course only if you have at least one or two years of experience in hairdressing or barbering.
• For newly qualified hair professionals (Level 2 NVQ or equivalent) looking to refine cutting skills and client care through classic techniques.

Focus: 

The focus of this course includes consultations, head sheets, and cutting skills, with particular attention to layers, graduation, and lines. You will develop combing and mapping skills while working through mannequin head training. Styling techniques, finishing techniques, and blow-dry techniques are included, with a strong emphasis on precision cutting.

The course also covers disconnections, pattern assessment, length choice, and suitability, while offering inspiration and personal appraisal to support your growth as a stylist.
