About this Event
An evening of contemporary folk songs from Andrew Rumsey and Sussex based singer/songwriter Liz Overs
ANDREW RUMSEY
Andrew is the centre of a unique Venn diagram, songsmith/author/bishop Andrew sings of lost places and their hope of return.
Collodion – released in February 2025 on Gare du Nord records – is the follow-up to Andrew’s 2023 solo debut Evensongs, which won widespread praise (from Mark Radcliffe on the BBC Radio 2 Folk Show, among others) as an unexpected gem of pastoral psych-folk. ‘An enchanting, enthralling album’, according to Shindig magazine.

Nightjar, her debut solo album was made alongside the Sussex coast, in March 2025.
