About this Event

The launch of Andrew Hill's new 600 page book documenting the artist's major community arts projects alongside his extensive body of paintings and prints and accompanied by texts from leading theorists and community leaders.

Writers are Michael Newall, Andrew Jakubowicz, Sera Waters and Hussain Razaiat.

The linked exhibition displays some of Andrew's iconic works alongside contemporary pieces exploring who we are as Australians and our relationship with our recent history.

Together the book and exhibition reflect on Australia's evolving social and cultural landscape, tracing our journey as a multicultural nation and considering the pathways ahead.
