The performance Corpo Estranho (Nonbody) addresses the fragmentation processes of the post-human body and explores how in this scenario the socio-affective and space-time relationships are affected and transformed, as well as subjectivity and desire.
The dissolution of bodies in different virtual planes fragments them as a metaphorical shrapnel. At the same time in what proportion, this fragmentation, that generates new places and possible lives in the virtual spectrum, produces, resonates, experiments and elaborates a conduct that accesses an ethical force?
Between the virtual and the real, the body dematerialises as flesh to transhumance itself in several layers of silicon. The performance uses motion capture technologies to generate avatars and textures in space mixed with the live human body and from a live generated sound sculpture processed digitally.
