Andres Vadin Trio

The Andrés Vadin Trio blends the rich tradition of flamenco with the spontaneity of jazz and the soul of world music. Led by guitarist Andrés Vadin (Grammy nominee), the trio features Yosmel Montejo on bass and Diego Álvarez “El Negro” (Grammy Winner) on percussion — three musicians whose deep musical chemistry creates a sound that is both rooted and forward-looking. They have collaborated individually with many artist such as Concha Buika, Antonio Carmona, Billy Cobham, Men at Work, Luis Enrique, Juan Luis Guerra etc.Each member of the trio has an extensive musical career, having played at major music festivals such as Glastonbury, Womad (Peter Gabriel), Montreal Music Festival, Viña del Mar and many others.

As a Trío they have been performing at Flamenco Arts Festival in California, SBAcoustic Festival, Phoenix Lluvia Flamenca among others.Together, they deliver a bold, modern sound that’s both deeply rooted in tradition and charged with improvisational energy. With each performance, they invite audiences into an intimate yet electrifying journey through the sounds of contemporary flamenco — where tradition meets improvisation, and passion meets precision.They are endorsed by Godin Guitars, Fishman, LP Percussion and Fender.

Our event is sponsored by Alma Flamenca, a Non-Profit organization, which allows us to provide extraordinary concerts at extremely affordable prices. Our organization also encourages arts for the youth, inviting children 9 years of age and under free or upon donation. A youth ticket for ages 10 to 20 is also available at a discounted rate. (Children under 6 may be asked to seat on guardians lap).
