Supplies will be provided
12”x12” x 3/4 primed canvases
At least 10 different colored acrylics
Matte Medium gel
brushes
old membership cards/gift cards to press out glue
paper towels
sanding paper
paper plates for paint
cups for water
scissors
Bring, but not required to
You can bring your favorite paintbrushes, acrylic paint colors, and other acrylic painting supplies if you prefer.
You can also bring hairdryers - it makes the drying time faster for the acrylic underpainting.
Photos
I highly encourage you to bring a digital format of your photographs, it makes your artwork more personal. The picture on your phone is great.
If you don’t have the photo that you would like to use on your phone, email a high-quality digital image to me at [email protected] subject workshop. It can be in black and white or color, but higher contrast is better. I will show you how to adjust it and flip the image during class.
We will have a laser jet printer set up so we can print them at The Singing River Art Studio.
You can use more than one photo on the same canvas.
Please proceed with your payment of $70 Total ($50+$20 for materials/each). This class is limited to 10 people, first, come first basis. Please save the method of payment. You won't be fully registered until the payment proceeds.
I will bring wine, but you are welcome to bring your own drink.
