About this Event
Join us for Andrea Arroyo's "Faces & Façades" Open House and New Year Toast!
Please join me on Saturday, January 18, from 3 to 4:30 p.m., at the oldest house in Manhattan.
Let's toast the New Year at my exhibition, "Faces & Façades"! The event is free and open to the public; no tickets are needed. It would be lovely to see your beautiful faces!
The project is my love letter to the uptown community and the women who keep it together. Inspired by the women and architecture of Northern Manhattan, the paintings blend organic and non-organic forms.
The Morris-Jumel Mansion Museum is one of the nation’s premier historic house museums. The oldest remaining residence in Manhattan was built in 1765 and is now open to the public. It served as General George Washington's Revolutionary War headquarters, was the residence of Eliza Jumel, a temporary home for Aaron Burr, and the workplace of Anne Northup.
The museum is open Thurs-Sun, through March 2025.
Thank you to everyone who has already visited, info: https://morrisjumel.org/exhibitions/faces-facades/
