Youth Floral Design Workshop at Pebble Hill Plantation for ages 8 years and up! Saturday, December 3, from 10:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. at the Pebble Hill Plantation Learning Center. Laura Strickland, Pebble Hill Plantation’s horticulturalist and floral designer, will lead this festive festive workshop of floral design and fun! Laura has more than 30 years of experience working in the historic gardens of Pebble Hill Plantation and The Sea Island Company. Laura will guide the participants in making a simple holiday floral arrangements using Pebble Hill greenery. The students will also make a nature-themed Christmas ornament like those historically used in the holiday decorations in the Main House--a wonderful keepsake for Christmases to come. Everyone is asked to bring pruning shears and gardening gloves. Holiday treats will be served. Join us for the festive fun!
