History is replete with failed apocalypses — from the year 1000 to any number of misinterpreted Mayan inscriptions. But what this outing of 2nd Saturdays might lack in reliability, it will hopefully make up for in musicality. And should the world not persist beyond the last encore, we will consider it to be an unfortunate clerical error on our part. Join host E.G. Phillips and featured performers Little Oil and Redemption Breaking for a night of midwinter existential dread as they brave the "Xmas Apocalypse" this December 13th at Bazaar Cafe.
Little Oil is a Mexico City born San Francisco Bay Area songwriter musician that finally fulfilled his creative urge to be the totalitarian dictator of his musical world and go solo with his self titled debut album. A lover of punk, classic rock, indie, & old time country & blues, his music is a voodoo mixture that sounds both familiar but fresh and original.
Redemption Breaking is a project dedicated to making real art and honest music. It is shouting angst and singing love out loud. It is speaking the Truth with all its beauty and contradictions. It is 70’s Folk meets 80’s Punk meets 90’s grit meets modern Americana. Most of all, it is the magic of creating special moments for everybody listening.
Hosted by the friend you are seeking for the end of the world, E.G. Phillips as part of his 2nd Saturdays residency series.
