"Wind Band Music while the shadow holds" - Joint Concert with Turku Conservatory Aura Wind Band

From 15-29 August 2026, the Upper Rhine Symphonic Youth Wind Band from the black forest, Germany will be touring Finland, visiting Eurajoki, Rauma, Turku and Helsinki.
The orchestra consists of 75 talented musicians performing at a high artistic level, offering our audiences a diverse programme that ranges from demanding symphonic wind repertoire to lighter jazz arrangements.
Programme highlights include Dimitri Shostakovich's Festive Overture, excerpts form Toshio Mashima's Seagull. Further we will play Ferrer Ferran's big symphonic work Peter Pan, as well as Jean Sibelius' Finlandia and Timo Forsströmm's Sons of the Midnight Sun.
Free entry to all concerts, donations are welcome.
