"WILLY WONKA JR." The Children's Musical 2023

STORY:

Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka JR. follows enigmatic candy manufacturer Willy Wonka as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats, but the fifth is a likeable young lad named Charlie Bucket, who takes the tour in the company of his equally amiable grandfather. The children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka's rules in the factory — or suffer the consequences.

Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka JR. has a flexible cast size with many featured and ensemble roles, including the singing and dancing Oompa Loompas.

DESCRIPTION:

Childlike Faith Academy of Music and Theatre (CFA) is proud to present our grand annual production, "WILLY WONKA JR." the Children's Musical, performed by children between the age of 5 to 15 on Saturday, June 24th of 2023! The musical will be performed in English with Chinese subtitles at Norman & Annette Rothstein Theatre (950 W 41st Ave, Vancouver), designed to be family-oriented and suitable for both English and Chinese speakers of all ages!

Our mission is to give the next generation a platform to learn about themselves, develop self-confidence, learn how to express themselves, be able to interact and socialize with other people in group settings, and to unleash their full potential in fun, easy, interesting and artistic way!

本劇長約七十分鐘，不設中場休息，英語演出，附設中英文字幕，於六月二十四日星期六假 Norman & Annette Rothstein Theatre (950 W 41st Ave, Vancouver) 合共演出兩場 (5:15 PM 及 7:30 PM) 。
