Facilitated by Judah1, Pomona’s inaugural Poet Laureate, the workshop will share his journey as an artist and engineer. Judah1 will discuss how he entered the engineering field, including work involving soil inspections, to create financial stability while continuing to grow and invest in his poetry career.

Participants will gain insight into navigating interdisciplinary career paths, balancing creative passion with practical career choices, and using diverse skills to build a sustainable and purpose-driven life. The conversation will encourage artists, students, entrepreneurs, and community members to think creatively about how their interests and professional experiences can support one another.
