Join us for an exclusive evening at Ankave to celebrate the launch of "Which Way Is Up?"—a month-long contemporary art exhibition by local artist, Anita Adams.
Running from 25th June to 25th July, this special collection brings Anita’s intricate, deeply personal, and mesmerising artwork to the walls of Ankave. "Which Way Is Up?" explores the twists and turns of personal narrative, the practice of mindfulness, and the journey of navigating through chaotic times to find a sense of centre and quiet space.
What to expect on Launch Night (From 6:30 PM):
Meet the Artist: Anita will be there in person. Come down for a chat, learn about her unique creative process, and discover the stories and philosophy behind the title, "Which Way Is Up?"
Be the very first to view and purchase original artwork, high-quality prints, and a curated range of unique design products featuring her iconic illustrations.
To say thank you for supporting local independent art, every attendee will receive a free glass of chilled Prosecco on arrival.
Whether you're an art collector, a lover of independent design, or just fancy a brilliant night out with great drinks and beautiful surroundings, we would love to see you there.
Coming Up During the Exhibition
Want to unlock your own creativity? During the month-long run of "Which Way Is Up?", Anita will be hosting two exclusive, small-group evening creative classes right here at Ankave. These sessions will give you the opportunity to learn her signature techniques, slow down, and create your very own piece of original art to take home.
